Why hasn’t some of my mail been redirected by Royal Mail?
While Royal Mail redirection works well for most post, some senders instruct Royal Mail not to redirect certain items. This is usually for legal or security reasons. When mail is marked “Do Not Redirect”, it is either delivered to the original address or returned to the sender and does not reach UK Postbox, so we are unable to scan or forward it.
To reduce the risk of this happening, we recommend updating your address directly with important senders wherever possible, so future correspondence is sent straight to your UK Postbox address rather than relying solely on a Royal Mail redirection.
