Can I use my UK Postbox Address for my DVLA Driving Licence?

DVLA requires drivers to provide their residential address so that a driving licence shows the driver's actual permanent address, they will not accept virtual, correspondence or PO Box addresses.

Both the DVLA and the Police, need to be able to contact the driver if necessary. This may be in an emergency or life-threatening situation so the actual address is very important to them

In addition, its a legal requirement for individuals to tell DVLA if they leave their residential address and to provide another residential address where they can be contacted.
